It was a great honor to be invited by Markus Gärtner to EWT26. This is the European Chapter of Weekend Testers. It was actually a meeting in which it was used my application http://www.testalways.com/2010/07/05/find-bugs-and-patterns/ to actually find the patterns and the bugs.

Besides Markus and me they were also : Anne-Marie Charrett, Pradeep Soundararajan, Yan Jiang,Alexei Barantsev, Anna Baik. Michael Bolton gave a look in the end of the meeting.

It was quite interesting and its very challenging to have a group of passionate testers from different corners of the world trying to solve a problem. The application was only an excuse but a good one because it covered a lot of aspects that people in our craft need to have in mind. It was useful to see the power of brainstorming and different approaches.

I would like to participate in as many similar meetings as possible.

As residual stuff I got some advices from Pradeep to add a note to my blog application for not publishing the solution. Also he mentioned some usability with the title of the posts. I ended up actually making some modification to my blog with this occasion.

   And I’m glad to have had you with us. One point I would like to pick out is that everyone around the globe is free to join our sessions. There is no invitation only. However, since you provided the application to test this weekend, we got in touch with you in order to check whether you wanted to join us on this. But for future sessions, feel free to join us.
