This is inspired by the Jon Bach’s post http://jonbox.wordpress.com/2010/06/08/the-right-combination/. But as my previous star drawing puzzle, it generally uses the ideas from my games played with James Bach.

The mission is pretty simple. Use the hints from left side to enter the proper combination in the right side. Once you got it you will have a confirmation message.

If you need another combination to generate reload the page.

If you found the solution please don’t send it directly in the comments.

Good luck and enjoy!

    Solve the puzzle!!!!!!!!
No one can solve the puzzle if s/he uses the hint. :)

  2. Hi there,

Adib and I just solved this puzzle of yours. One of us will be emailing you about it. Just for the record, I am still not sure if you intentionally put all those traps in there. I highly doubt anyone can figure it out without using any tools.

But before that…You got serious issues with this page. There is a floating div above your comment area, so that makes it very difficult for others to write their name and details. Please fix that. Thanks.

    Regards,

  3. By the way, it looks like the floating div only affects your first comment. It’s still there, only that it no longer overlaps the “Post a Comment” section once there are existing comments.

  4. @Sajjadul Hakim,

Well maybe you still have not figure it out or just partially.

Ok, about the div problems. Can you give more details, browser, etc…?

    @Sajjadul Hakim,

Thank a lot for this. I got it eventually with the div problem.

  6. Hmm, that is a good point. Let me email you the findings and then we can discuss there. Or maybe a skype account?

About the div problem. I am using Firefox 3.6.6 and also found the problem on Safari 5.0. Try to go to the following post and click on the Name/email textbox:

  8. BINGO YOU’VE GOT IT!!!

After looking at the green letters for a while, I decided I’d have more fun just to brute it. So, I built a little Chrome extension that does exactly that.

Download the unpackaged brute force solver.

Install it to chrome by pointing your browser to chrome://extensions/ enable the developer mode dropdown, then click Load Unpacked Extension. Then refresh the page, and it’ll mash on the lock until it opens.

    Green letter box? Red herring.
